Firstly, the arrangement of analog sticks is a bit different and the essential buttons are located in the upper part of the console, which are followed by a touchpad on each sides. Now all I can think about is what I’m going to figure out next.Let’s start with the basics: if you’ve seen Gaben’s newest gadget, it looks very similar to Switch, there are some notable differences though. There’s a sense of pride every time I use one of these features because I made it happen. It’s so nice to be able to play the bulk of my game library on my Steam Deck, but it’s also so satisfying to tinker in the back end of the system and just make it work. What struck me is how much I enjoyed the process of this-almost as much as the end result. (I tried to run it on my computer and type it in, and I got errors every time.) I’ve played about four hours of Stray this way, and it works so much better than PS streaming to my iPad (which is choppy, laggy, and mostly unusable). The only thing I’d add to this is to make sure to run the PSN Account ID Base64 script on your Deck and copy and paste it into Chiaki. Here’s a great instruction post from Reddit user mintcu7000. PlayStation Remote Play was a bit more complicated, and it’s important to note that it doesn’t work outside of my local network.
